Job Summary:

The Carrier Relations Co-Op will work with teams to understand and learn the truck booking and track and trace processes. The Co-op will spend time on the Carrier Relations team to learn skills needed to build and move loads. There will be defined expectations and goals to which the co-op will be held accountable and coached.


An end of co-op presentation will be prepared by co-op and given to leadership. The presentation should include: what they learned during time as co-op; if their goals were achieved or not and information explaining this; any recommendations and if they would return as co-op or full time hire or not. The presentation should not last more than 30 minutes and should allow for Q&A time at the end of the presentation.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·         None



·         Provide track and trace via P44

·         Carrier negotiations

·         Carrier relations

·         Negotiate rates and sell loads

·         Perform outbound calls

·         Load building

·         Other duties and tasks as assigned

·         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
