About the Role:

Bridge Logistics Inc. is a third-party logistics firm in Cincinnati, OH. We have been in business for 20+ years, providing specialized shipping and transportation solutions for our customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico since 2003.

We are looking for an energetic, detailed oriented and customer focused individual to join our team as Central Operations Support Specialist.

The goal of the Central Operations Team is to provide consistent, efficient, and scalable support to the sales teams at Bridge Logistics. Central Operations Support team members work in an extremely fast paced environment that requires urgency, grit, and a willingness to learn. The position is responsible for track and trace and booking trucks by making phone calls to negotiate booking a load or getting the location of a driver, sending emails, and other forms of communication. The Central Operations Support Specialist will utilize and leverage multiple pieces of technology to maximize efficiency, as well as give feedback to improve processes. Critical thinking and taking initiative are must haves. This is a team-based role that requires discipline and accountability with a professional customer service attitude.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Consistency with attendance and performance
  • Works well with others and does not shy from healthy conflict or difficult conversations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and flexibility in changing tasks
  • High level of Initiative involving daily workflow
  • Ability to communicate effectively in multiple ways at the same time. For example, being able to listen to conversations around you at the team level for key buzzwords while on the phone.
  • Customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
