Logistics Advisor Co-op

Job Summary:

The Logistics Advisor Co-Op will work with teams to understand and learn the overall sales process. The Co-op will begin with time in the Centralized Ops team to learn skills needed to build and move loads. There will be defined expectations and goals to which the co-op will be held accountable and coached. The co-op will also spend time shadowing the SDR, Development Team, Logistics Advisor and Sr. Logistics Advisor roles. There will be an opportunity to sit in on sales calls and hear sales conversations.

 

An end of co-op presentation will prepared by co-op and given to leadership. The presentation should include: what they learned during time as co-op; if their goals were achieved or not and information explaining this; any recommendations and if they would return as co-op or full time hire or not. Presentation should not last more than 30 minutes and should allow for Q&A time at the end of the presentation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Provide track and trace via P44

·       Carrier negotiations

·       Carrier relations

·       Negotiate rates and sell loads

·       Perform outbound calls

·       Load building

·       Other duties and tasks as assigned
